Handwritten Recipe Wednesday: Magic Cookie Bars

I found this Borden holiday recipe booklet in the same box the moldy fudge recipe came from last Wednesday. I’ve had these before and they are delicious!

Magic Cookie Bars

1/2 cup butter

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated)

1 (6-oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut

1 cup chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 350F (325F for glass dish). In 13×9 baking pan, melt butter. Sprinkle crumbs over butter; pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crumbs. Top evenly with remaining ingredients; press down gently. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool thoroughly before cutting. Store, loosely covered, at room temperature.
