I’m not sure why you’d want to make Ham and Cheese sandwiches for 8, or why it would require two pages of recipe instructions (especially on a paper from Robert’s House of Carpets), but here you go:
1 stick margarine or butter (wow)
1 1/2 T prep. mustard (as opposed to making it yourself?)
1 very small grated minced onion (interesting)
1 T poppy seed
Mix together. Spread on both sides of bun.
1/2 # shaved ham
1/2 # shaved swiss cheese
Place some ham & cheese on buns. Wrap in foil. Bake 350F – 20 min. 350 might or batch lot 325F. (I think that’s what it says.)

I think that last line says “350 might be too hot” …. not “350 might or batch lot” …. in which case, set oven to 325 degrees. At least that’s how I read it, and it seems to make sense too.
That does make sense. If I didn’t try to do the blog at dawn every morning, maybe those things would be clearer to me too!
I have made similar sandwiches and they are very good- a nice way to make lunch ahead for a group and they store well in the freezer. I don’t use a stick of butter though. The prepared mustard is to distinguish from ground (powdered) mustard.
