Just wanted to let you know that my short story titled “Homeless” from my Mystery Montage collection is up for an Anthony Award at the 2011 Bouchercon conference. You can read “Homeless,” a flash fiction (670 words), by visiting my website @ http://www.patricialmorin.com and clicking on the Mystery Montage tab. If you enjoy the story, and are attending Bouchercon 2011, I would appreciate your vote. Thanks. Pat Morin

Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed you and Katie at today’s talk in Forest Park on the candies. He’s usually pretty much quiet about stuff like this but he had wonderful things to say about you both..(Could it have been the sugar rush).
Thanks again
Thanks so much, Courtney – Katie and I had a blast at Forest Park. That was a very fun crowd!
I have the 1963 Home and Gardens Junior cookbook and am missing pg 55/56 – which happens to contain part of recipe for best peanut butter cookies ever! I wonder if someone could scan those pages and email to me?
Hi Amy,
I am with the Lake County Association for Home and Community Education. We
are a non profit group dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals and
families through quality educational programs and experiences. We are having
a Cultural Enrichment Event on Thursday, October 16, 10 am. The event is held
at the University of Illinois Extension in Grayslake. Program would start at
10:30 am. This the day that our members bring items that they have made to be
judged by a panel of judges. We also offer a culturally enriching program for
our members which should be about an hour long. Then lunch is served
afterwards.
We are looking for a program that would go along with our theme of “Been
Cookin’ 90 years” The topic we are interested in is heritage
aprons. What do you charge for your programs?
Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested. Thank you for your help.
